Why Venture? Handcrafted by people I love in the region I love. Pretty easy decision. Oh and the boards slay it in the mountains and in the park!
Best Snowboarding Memory: Last season I was dragging ass trying to keep up with the guys skinning and just wanted to quit. So I stopped and had a “moment.” During that moment, a huge flock of sandhill cranes came circling over making their funny honking calls. They were catching thermals while crossing the rugged mountains. It was a great lesson in the magic that can be found in taking moments for yourself.

Bio: Brittany grew up in Indiana spending summers at the lake and winters skiing hills in Michigan. In 2003 she moved to Durango, CO to pursue her love of the outdoors while getting a degree in Fine Art from Fort Lewis College. She has called Durango her home ever since and is still exploring all the great things the SW has to offer. Her early work days were spent as a shop kid selling snowboards and working in the tune shop. Nowadays she’s a marketing professional in the media and agency realm.
Goals & Objectives: Keep on pushing. I’d like to get stronger in the backcountry and continue to up my education and endurance. Also, I’d like to start competing again.
