Bio: A mountain girl through and through, Tiff owns more flip flops than heels and always has a fresh bruise or scab somewhere on her body. Her love of the outdoors was acquired at a young age hiking and camping with her family in Northern California where she grew up. Her outdoor interests include mountain biking, rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, and backcountry snowboarding. When she’s not playing outdoors she loves to dance, cook, debate politics, go to movies, and read. Tiff holds numerous outdoor certifications including Wilderness First Responder, ACA Whitewater Kayak Instructor, ACA Swiftwater Rescuer, and AIARE Level II, and has worked as a guide in Washington, Wyoming and Colorado. She’s also the founder and race director of the Crested Butte Pole Pedal Paddle Event (CB3P). But Tiff’s proudest accomplishment to date is being crowned the ‘Queen of Soul’ at Crested Butte's 2014 Soul Train event.
Best Riding Memory? I’ve been snowboarding waaaay too long to have a single best snowboarding memory. My most RECENT BEST would be shredding the South Face of Ruby Peak (12,641’) with friends on my birthday this year. It was so good I insisted on a second lap!
Why Venture? Two words…Venture Tempest. I LOVE THIS FREAKING BOARD! I discovered it last winter when I was fortunate enough to be a part of the 2014/2015 Backcountry Mag Snowboard Gear Test. It was love at first ride. I pretty much refused to take out anything else for the rest of the day
