Home Town: Portland, OR / Silverton, CO

Home Mountain: The San Juan’s and Purgatory

Snowboarding since: 2012

Riding Venture since: Fresh to the team & fresh to the scene

Why Venture? I’m not gentle on my gear, specifically my snowboards. The appeal of having boards built where I live AND built to last feels like it’s almost too good to be true. I’m excited to rep a brand that cares about their product and the people they build it for.

Best Snowboarding Memory: The amount of joy that snowboarding brings me feels insurmountably hard to distill into a single memory. A time that stands out however was when I took a ski trip back to my home mountain, Mt. Hood, and rode all night long under the single upper lift of Ski Bowl, a tiny resort near Government Camp. All of my closest college friends and myself skied illusive PNW powder under dim lights and cheered each other on from the lift, there was no time to regroup at the base because each run was that good.

Bio: I started snowboarding my freshman year of high school when I joined my school’s snowboard team in Portland, OR. After high school I was set on choosing a university that would allow me to ride regularly and adventure often. I settled on Quest University in Squamish, BC and was lucky enough to ride Whistler for two winters before ending up in Durango, CO. After two years in Durango I made the move to Silverton, CO as the result of a whole winter spent on my friend’s floor in her Silverton apartment. I haven’t considered living anywhere else since.
