2 Year Warranty
We Built It. We Stand Behind It.
Every board and ski that leaves our factory in Silverton was built by us from scratch. We know what went into your board because we put it there. If we messed up, we want to know about it. And we want to make it right.
Your Venture snowboard or ski is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of purchase from an Authorized Venture Dealer. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only.
If we determine your board or ski has a manufacturing defect, we'll repair or replace it at our discretion, no charge. All replacements are subject to availability.
Before You File a Claim
Be straight with us. We've been building boards since 1999 and we've seen just about everything. If you hit a rock, clipped a tree, or your board slid off the roof rack in the parking lot, tell us that. Those things happen. They're not warranty issues, but we can probably still help you through our Factory Repair & Crash Replacement program.
If you think the issue is a defect in materials or workmanship, that's what the warranty is for.
What's Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from impact with rocks, stumps, logs, rails, concrete, metal, or anything that isn't snow
- Chairlift damage
- Stripped inserts from improper mounting, wrong screw length, or over-torquing
- Damage from improper mounting of splitboard hardware
- Boards that have been modified or repaired by someone other than Venture
- Damage from solvents, adhesives, or LOC-TITE
- Cosmetic issues that don't affect ride performance
- Damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship
Not sure which category your issue falls into? Email us photos and we'll figure it out together.
How to File a Warranty Claim
Step 1: Email info@venturesnowboards.com with photos of the damage and a copy of your original receipt. Tell us what happened. The more detail, the better.
Step 2: We'll review it and get back to you. If it looks like a warranty issue, we'll issue a Return Authorization (RA) number and send you shipping instructions. If it looks like impact damage, we'll point you to our Crash Replacement and Factory Repair options. Either way, we'll take care of you.
Step 3: Ship the board to us prepaid and insured. Write the RA number on the outside of the box. Boards that show up without an RA number will be refused.
Step 4: We inspect the board, determine whether it's a warranty repair or replacement, and get your board (or a new one) back to you.
A Few Things to Know
Your original receipt is required. No receipt, no warranty claim.
Boards purchased secondhand (eBay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.) or from unauthorized dealers are not covered.
You pay shipping to us. If it's a valid warranty claim, we cover return shipping. If the claim is denied, a repair fee and return shipping will apply.
We repair whenever possible. Replacement is a last resort. If we do replace, it'll be the same model and size or the closest available equivalent.
Not a Warranty Issue? We Can Still Help.
We do factory repairs on impact damage, edge damage, delamination from abuse, and most other problems that aren't covered under warranty. We also offer crash replacement discounts up to 40% off a new board, even if your broken board isn't a Venture.
