Bio: Chance grew up in Gig Harbor, WA. He discovered his passion for snowboarding shortly after graduating from high school and moved to Big Sky, Montana to pursue it. While he thought he’d spend only a year ski bumming before going to college, nine years later Chance still calls Big Sky home, and has dedicated his entire life to sliding on snow. Some highlights from his riding career include competing in the Freeride World Qualifiers, taking 2nd place in the North Face Masters at Big Sky in 2016, and taking 1st place in the 2012 Headwaters Spring Run-Off.

Best Snowboarding Memory? The one memory that sticks out above all the others would have to be the moment that I was called up to the podium to take second place after competing in "The North Face Masters of Snowboarding" at my home mountain in Big Sky, Montana. Being able to stand on the podium in front of the home town crowd, in a freeride event that I had watched as a teenager and that had inspired me to push my riding was an awesome feeling and an amazing memory.

Why Venture? Venture boards are nearly indestructible. Living and riding at Big Sky Resort everyday takes an amazing toll on snowboards. I usually go through two, maybe three every season. I have proudly owned a Venture for the past three winter seasons and that board has taken a beating but is still going strong. Plus Venture makes an AMAZING stick for the deep pow. Keep up the good work boys!
