Why Venture? Because the boards are built tough and can handle my aggressive riding style. These boards are built by big mountain freeriders made for big mountain freeriders.
Best Snowboarding Memory: It snowed every day for 5 days in Japan, keeping resorts open to a minimum. The storm dumped another meter the night before it cleared out. We awoke to blue bird skies and champagne powder that was so fine it looked like glitter. The whole day was spent touring with local Japanese pros and hitting fresh tracks everywhere we went until last chair.

Bio: Growing up in Maryland, Jen rode Snowshoe, WV and the mountains in Pennsylvania. After graduating college, she moved to Alta, UT to snowboard more. Here, she was able to discover a real passion for the mountains and big mountain riding. Now, calling Truckee, CA her home, she spends her time trying to find an “endless winter” and competing with the Freeride World Qualifiers around the world. She would much rather be on her splitboard in the backcountry than at a resort. Snowboarding is her true passion and she loves to share that passion through coaching the next generation. If she’s not snowboarding, hiking to find some sort of “patch” of snow left in the summer months or traveling the Southern Hemisphere to complete her dream of an endless winter, she’s mountain biking or spending her time at lake.
