Bio: Scott is a Colorado native, born in Denver and local to Durango since 1988. A die hard rider for life, he has shredded on 5 continents, in 23 states and countries, for 32 consecutive seasons, almost always on a Colorado-made snowboard. A few of Scott's many photographic achievements include being a NY Times Pulitzer Contributor and receiving a Durrance Award from Colorado Ski Country for Top Ski Action Photographer of the Year.
Best Snowboarding Memory: My first day riding a snowboard in December 1985 was the "Best Day Ever" on the Berthoud Pass T-bar with 18+ inches of fresh. I had no clue how to ride a snowboard but my young skate punk attitude prevailed. The deep fresh pow was so forgiving compared to the concrete parking lots we used to skate and made it so easy to link turns by noon. Changed my life forever.
Why Venture? Cuz they are the best!
