Bio: Taylor grew up snowboarding in southern Wisconsin. He moved to Colorado in 2012, where he discovered splitboarding - and everything changed. Early mornings and steep skin tracks quickly became his rhythm.

He lives for the backcountry: 90% of his days are spent outside the resort boundaries, finding solitude, great snow, and good conversation on the skin track. Riding untracked snow with friends is what makes the backcountry feel like home.

Taylor travels to multiple states each season chasing big lines, fresh powder, and stable snowpacks. If there's a splitboard event or demo, chances are you’ll run into him. When he's not snowboarding, he enjoys rafting, biking, and camping with his dog Nala.

Favorite Memory: A 10-day trip sailing the fjords of Svolvaer, Norway and hiking the Lofoten Islands in spring 2023. He arrived expecting spring conditions—ice axes and crampons—but instead it snowed for days. When the storms finally cleared, the crew enjoyed calm seas, deep powder, and surreal 2,500 ft descents straight to the ocean on a Euphoria. Riding big lines with stable snow and best friends made it a trip he hopes to repeat.

Why Venture?: Venture makes some of the strongest, best-performing boards out there. Knowing where his board comes from—and who builds it—matters. Supporting a local company whose snowboards are made by snowboarders makes all the difference.
