Rode same Venture board from 2008 to 2023. I worked it like a boss riding hard 20+ days each season. Rode Silverton many times, so it definitely had some knicks and even a deep under foot gash I had repaired and kept riding it for another few years. It was so solid, I bought a new one (Storm), and the it can handle anything, no exaggeration. The old board is still in good condition given it's 17 years old, but the quality of the Storm can't be beat.

Whatever the adventure; ice, crud, deep powder, wet snow & groomers this model has been my favorite freeride board. The split board is a sweet spot of balance between the touring uphill & handling whatever big mountain freeride challenge possesses. The split rides the same as solid so nothing surprises me! Buy it- you wont regret!
