Board of Choice: I ride a Zelix 64 split board, mounted with Spark R&D binders in Deeluxe boots! The Zelix is the best snowboard I’ve ever ridden! It knifes through everything, floats effortlessly and is stable at mach chicken. So sweet.
Bio: Will is an ambitious backcountry and big mountain rider, aspiring AMGA Ski Guide, and future Wilderness Therapist. Some of his many accomplishments include winning King of the Hill in Valdez, AK in 2011, and placing multiple times in the Freeride World Tour.
Best Riding Memory? Too many to list, but winning the King of the Hill in Valdez, AK in 2011 is definitely up there. I feel so blessed to have been able to ride with so many awesome people in amazing places throughout the years!
Why Venture? When I got on my first Venture split there was nothing else. It railed and performed like a normal board, what I had been dreaming of was now reality. The shape and build of their boards is amazing, I love that I can have a solid and split of the same board! They are made by snowboarders for snowboarders in a wind powered facility in Silverton, Colorado. Roooooots, grow the future you imagine.
