most universally recommendable board I've ridden and my daily driver last year. crushes steeps, powder, groomers, bumps, you name it. stable at speed and super manuverable in tight situations. lays down a carve and gets real Japanese surfy off the back foot. the friends I had try it out loved it. effortlessly powerful and super flowy and easy to hop on and ride. certainly not just a powder board.

I’ve never loved a board this much.

The name says it all. Set back stance and huge nose eat up the deepest days, and equally satisfying wiggling down groomers or dominating banked slalom.

All my other boards get jealous and sit in the garage collecting dust. Eats up the deepest of powder days, rides switch like a dream, and inspires confidence in sketchy terrain. Loving the new blunt nose.

Holds an edge really well, floats naturally through pow. Can easily be used all around the mountain: carving groomers through backcountry. Edge initiation (front to back) lags slightly but not noticeable after you ride the board a couple hours

Rode same Venture board from 2008 to 2023. I worked it like a boss riding hard 20+ days each season. Rode Silverton many times, so it definitely had some knicks and even a deep under foot gash I had repaired and kept riding it for another few years. It was so solid, I bought a new one (Storm), and the it can handle anything, no exaggeration. The old board is still in good condition given it's 17 years old, but the quality of the Storm can't be beat.
